Maintenance Electrician

Overview

RSC is an established small company in growth mode, expanding into new markets and applications. Reliable competes in a specialty, engineered metals arena dominated by much larger, often global competitors. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join RSC’s team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all electrical systems and equipment in our facilities, ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.

Maintenance Manager, regular interaction with the Plant Manager. FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt. Location and compensation details:
Albuquerque, NM; $15.59 - $21.64 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all electrical systems and equipment in the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical issues in a timely manner.
• Install and upgrade electrical systems and components.
• Perform safety checks, ensure all electrical systems meet local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Respond to emergency repairs and maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.
• Assist other team members with projects and tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management and procurement of specialized tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with production managers to minimize downtime during maintenance and repair.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety training sessions.
• Provide technical support for minor facility upgrades and modifications.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. The incumbent is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The incumbent may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The incumbent will be at times working in areas with heavy machinery, high temperature processes, magnetic fields, and moving mechanical equipment in the production areas. Production areas can be demanding, sometimes requiring hearing, eye, thermal, or other protection on the manufacturing floor.
