Responsibilities

In this role, you will generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability and release manufacturing work orders.

Work model:
Onsite.

As a Production Scheduler supporting the Electrification Installation Products division in Albuquerque, NM, you will ensure seamless order fulfillment and operational efficiency by reviewing and scheduling customer and stock orders, monitoring SAP MRP‑generated production plans, and executing finished goods stock strategies. Responsibilities include releasing and managing work orders, securing materials and resources, and analyzing schedule adherence to resolve deviations quickly.

  • Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
  • Executing daily, plant‑level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements.
  • Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan.
  • Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow‑up improvement action.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, business or a related field and 1+ years of internship or full‑time experience in production planning, scheduling, and/or supply chain.
  • Working knowledge of general supply chain and production activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP System—SAP Preferred.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills—written and verbal—with cross‑functional internal and external parties and teams.
  • Must already have work authorization that would permit working for ABB in the US.
