Overnight Production Worker Job Description

We are currently hiring a production technician to assist in the development, scale-up, and production of powders and other security-based products. We seek a candidate with a great attitude, the ability to learn new processes, and a team player mentality. The work will consist of operational assignments and procedures for powder and tag production under general supervision and guidance. Some shift work is required.

• Operate, maintain, clean, and troubleshoot proprietary production equipment.
• Mix materials, formulate recipes, produce powders, and perform thermal post-processing for various powders.
• Conduct wet chemistry-based synthesis of unique taggant materials.
• Maintain consistent quality for long-run material campaigns.
• Exhibit flexibility to shift between high-volume manufacturing and one-off R&D sample generation.
• Achieve high operating efficiency while ensuring the highest quality, safety, and security standards.
• Assist in planning, synthesis, processing, and testing of products.

• Manufacturing background
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Manufacturing and production experience

• Computer experience is a plus
• Weighing experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is a big plus
• Mechanical experience
• Hands‑on problem-solving skills

The schedule requires flexibility, with training on the 1st shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The day shift is 6 am to 2:30 pm, the evening shift is 11 am to 7:30 pm, and another evening shift is 2 pm to 10:30 pm. Work as part of a team with eight other production workers in various environments, which can be hands‑on, may involve getting wet, and include the odor of chemicals.

The facility is climate‑controlled.

This is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

The pay range for this position is $19.24 - $19.24/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Albuquerque, NM.
