Oil Cooking Specialist

Position Summary

Oil Production Specialist is responsible for processing raw materials into finished bulk products (such as oils, ghee, and balms) by operating large, industrial electric kettles/urns. This role requires high attention to detail to follow precise batch records, GMP adherence, and technical skill in operating industrial heating and mixing equipment.

Eagle Rock Warehouse, Albuquerque

• Operate large-scale stainless steel kettles to process materials to specific consistency and temperature standards.
• Meticulously follow batch records and formulas, ensuring precise, authorized measurement and addition of ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kettles and equipment following strict Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures to prevent contamination.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and batch records to ensure compliance.
• Lift heavy objects typically up to 50 lbs repeatedly and occasionally more than 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work around moderate noise levels.

  High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Records, and Production Documents (MMR, Work Orders). Basic math skills and calculator proficiency.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and teamwork.

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have flexibility with competing priorities and changing schedules.

$17/hour (Full-time 40 hours/week, Hourly, Non-exempt position)
