CNC Machine Operator - Experienced CNC Mill Machine Operator to Start ASAP!

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team for the second shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves setting up and operating CNC mills and HAAS machines, optimizing CNC programs, and performing in-process inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and experience with CAM software, particularly MasterCAM.

• Prior machine shop experience.
• Working understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with CAM software, preferably MasterCAM.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Basic G-Code knowledge.
• Ability to perform quality checks and inspections.
• CMM programming and operation experience.
• 5-axis mill programming and setup.
• Experience with Haas machines.
• Preferred inspection experience.

• Interpret and work from blueprints and work instructions.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and other machines.
• Optimize CNC programs for low cycle times and tool life.
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Work with 3-5 Axis machines.
• Engage in manual machine operations and load machines efficiently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
