Position: Operator I-III

Operator I–III, Production

Location:

Albuquerque, New Mexico

What you’ll do
  • Perform a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices and specific steps in the assembly and test of production units.
  • Set up and prepare work stations and assembly fixtures.
  • Read and comprehend basic drawings and schematics, and identify failure discrepancies per visual and/or written descriptions.
  • Utilize visual aids such as microscopes, visors, and eye loops.
  • Use computer hardware and software, including MS Office.
  • Collect and record data, and read and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
  • Work with various types of test equipment.
  • Operate UV curing systems and thermal curing ovens, and measure and pour chemicals, as required by the team or shift.
Qualifications

Requirements vary by level.

  • OperatorI, Production: High school diploma or GED.
  • Operator II, Production: High school diploma or GED plus 2+ years of work experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or other highly regulated industry.
  • Operator III, Production: High school diploma or GED plus 5+ years of work experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or other highly regulated industry.

Nice to have.

  • Knowledge of ESD and cleanroom procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and multitask with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to hear and speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
  • Experience computing rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
Additional Requirements
  • Stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for 8+ hours on the production floor.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 25lb.
  • Work in a noisy, moving‑machinery environment with varying conditions.
  • Flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts as operational needs require.
Candidate Prerequisites
  • US office candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise qualified under ITAR regulations.
  • New Zealand office candidates must be eligible to access ITAR‑regulated equipment and meet nationality requirements.
