Production Scheduler

Your role includes generating a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability, and showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders.

Report to the Planning and Fulfillment Manager. Work model for the role is onsite.

Primary accountability:

• Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
• Executing daily, plant‑level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet production delivery schedules.
• Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan.
• Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow‑up improvement action.

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, business or related field and 1+ year internship or full‑time experience in production planning, scheduling, and/or supply chain preferred.
• Working knowledge of general supply chain and production activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP System – SAP preferred.
• Detail oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills – written and verbal, with cross‑functional internal and external parties and teams.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
