2nd Shift Supervisor | Manufacturing Operations

Employment Type: Direct Hire

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation: $69,200 - $103,800 annually

Relocation Assistance: Available

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM with flexibility to support alternate shifts and weekends as business needs require

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to provide leadership and operational support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will play a key role in supporting a newly implemented second shift by leading production teams, driving operational performance, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a proven manufacturing leader with experience managing hourly production employees, driving results, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop hourly manufacturing employees.
  • Manage daily production activities to ensure achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives.
  • Drive employee engagement, accountability, and performance improvement.
  • Identify and resolve production challenges while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications

Candidates must have demonstrated experience:

  • Directly supervising hourly manufacturing employees.
  • Coaching and developing team members.
  • Managing employee performance and accountability.
  • Addressing performance concerns through constructive feedback and corrective action.
Manufacturing Operations Leadership

Must have experience leading production operations with responsibility for:

  • Safety performance
  • Productivity targets
Ownership and Accountability

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Ownership of operational results.
  • The ability to drive accountability while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • A track record of leading teams through challenges and achieving measurable results.
Preferred Experience
  • Supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
