Production Associate Job Description
The Production Associate supports machine operators and shift supervisors by completing daily production tasks that help meet customer requirements and expectations in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with loading and unloading production equipment to maintain an efficient flow of materials.
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures and policies to promote a safe work environment.
- Enter production data accurately into the Plant Data Entry (PDE) system.
- Assist in stripping and palletizing finished products to prepare them for storage or shipment.
- Support general housekeeping in production areas, including both foam and corrugated departments, to keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist production supervisors and machine operators with daily tasks and operational needs as directed.
- Provide general production support across different areas as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Some warehouse experience, including operating forklifts, is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and internet use.
- Ability to use basic office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Proficiency with forklifts and experience operating sit-down and upright reach trucks.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to follow moderate to complex verbal instructions and understand documentation related to shipping and receiving duties.
- General production experience or familiarity with production environments.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in general production, retail, or sales environments.
- Comfort using email and basic computer applications for communication and reporting.
- Attention to detail when entering data into systems such as PDE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented production setting.
- Willingness to assist across different areas of production, including foam and corrugated operations.

WorkEnvironment
This role is based in an industrial production facility where you will work around foam, corrugated materials, and various types of production equipment. The environment does not have air conditioning, as temperature and moisture control are important to protect the product, so you should be comfortable working in a warmer setting standard schedule consists of 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break.
Depending on operational needs and equipment wear and tear, some Friday work may be required to maintain continuity. You will work around forklifts, sit-down and upright reach trucks, and other material-handling equipment, and you should expect to follow all safety and housekeeping standards while wearing appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial environment.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
