Material Handler – Pallet Assembler

Classification:
Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary/Objective

The Material Handler position main function is to repair wooden pallets to desired specs.

Essential Functions

Utilizing a nail gun to assemble wooden components to create wooden pallet.

Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions using a crowbar and handsaw.

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks:

Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to work standing on your feet for 8+ hours a day
Able and willing to work in an outdoor environment.
Able to bend and lift for 8+ hours a day.

Must be willing to accept and receive frequent directives.
