Job OverviewAs a Lean Manufacturing Changeover Specialist, you will focus on optimizing changeover processes for our Chewy Bars platform. Collaborate with platform teams, floor teams, FSQ, and department management to identify opportunities for improvement, reduce changeover time, and maintain safety and effectiveness. Utilize tools like process mapping, value stream mapping, and more to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead changeover reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities and developing strategies to improve practices.
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance cleaning processes and eliminate overcleaning.
- Embrace a learning mindset to identify pain points and propose innovative solutions.
- Leverage external perspectives to implement best practices from various industries.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Technical preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience, or HS Diploma with a minimum of 10 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of data systems such as MAXIMO, MQIS, INSQL, and GSTEMS.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to coach and utilize standards and processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Training in Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
