ResponsibilitiesAs an Infection Preventionist - LPN/LVN, under the direction of an RN, you will be responsible for one or multiple centers’ Infection Prevention and Control Program. You will function as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff, focusing on:
Infection Prevention and Control Activities, Outbreak Management, Employee Health, and Outcome - Process Surveillance. This includes identifying, investigating, analyzing, controlling, and reporting infections.
LPN/LVN must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current practical or vocational nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. Must complete specialized training in infection prevention and control. A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience is required, with a minimum of two years of nursing experience in long-term care nursing; one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
Previous experience in infection prevention and control is preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate employees on evening and night shifts.

Posted Salary Range
USD $33.00 - USD $39.00 /Hr.
