• Provide leadership and manage daily operations of the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Develop and implement care plans, working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient care outcomes, identifying opportunities for quality improvement within the PCU.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Oversee staffing and scheduling to maintain optimal patient-to-nurse ratios.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within a progressive care or similar acute care unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong understanding of PCU nursing practices, patient safety, and quality care standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
