* for a FT Registered Nurse, RN for Nights with ICU/Step-down experience.

• Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
• Care for patients with complex medical conditions commonly treated in LTAC settings, including:
  Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula; sedation/pain management; pressor management; and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management.
• Manage chronic non-healing wounds with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes.
• Direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• Acute care experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
