Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift Location

New Mexico

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week.

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in an obstetric setting and possess strong clinical skills to provide care for patients during labor and delivery.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Conduct assessments, initiate care plans, and coordinate patient care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using external fetal monitoring.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections, including recovery post-procedure.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Implement and maintain infection control measures throughout the delivery process.

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Must possess a valid New Mexico or compact RN license at the time of submission.
