- Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse, Night Shift
- Setting: Adult ICU, 32-bed unit
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours available)
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1620 - $1700/week
- Active New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience; 2 years of critical care experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
- Strong background in ventilator management, ventilator weaning, arterial/central line management, and vasoactive drip titration
- Experience with neuro and surgical intensive care, EVD/ICP monitoring, and post-neurosurgery patient management preferred
- Ability to float to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, and CVICU as needed (floating capped at 4 patients)
- Willingness to work weekend shifts (minimum 6 per schedule period)
- Proven skills in infection prevention, isolation precautions, and critical care protocols
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status
- Administer medications, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and manage complex equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, and central lines
- Provide post-op neuro and surgical ICU care including EVD/ICP management and ventilator support
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams: respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, social work, and physicians
- Float to other critical care units as assigned while maintaining safe patient ratios and scope of practice
- Participate in orientation, ongoing education, and mandatory compliance training
- Adhere strictly to infection control standards, patient safety practices, and hospital policies
