Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit.
The nurse will work night shifts, providing care for patients with cardiovascular issues.
The unit consists of 55 beds and has a daily census of approximately 38 patients.
Patient care requires strong skills in telemetry and the management of cardiac drips.
The nurse will be responsible for tasks such as IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Experience with post-myocardial infarction care, cardiac surgeries, and central line management is essential.
Wound care and management of non-invasive airway devices are important responsibilities.
Collaborative interdisciplinary support will be available from various specialties.
The nurse will adapt to floating as needed within similar units based on patient care needs.
Weekend shifts and additional hours may be required based on staffing needs.
