The Albuquerque VA is looking for a Registered Nurse Evidence Based Practice Coordinator in the Clinical Care Outcome Operations service line!
DutiesThe Evidenced-Based Practice (EBP) Nurse Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with nursing and interprofessional colleagues on the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of process improvement and EBP projects. In partnership, the EBP Nurse Coordinator promotes research-related activities, including dissemination of results through internal and external presentations and publications in refereed journals. The EBP Nurse Coordinator serves as an expert consultant to mentor nursing staff, nursing leaders, and students in the utilization and dissemination of EBP.
The EBP Nurse Coordinator provides leadership in EBP related to complex health care issues that influence health care and policy development, promoting the VHA Mission. The EBP Nurse Coordinator demonstrates leadership in enhancing group dynamics and facilitating team decision-making to promote practice changes that lead to sustainable outcomes.
