Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in New Mexico, requiring at least 1-2 years of OR experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting,

• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM),

• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week,

• On-call required per 6-week schedule: approximately 3 weeknight call shifts (Mon-Thu, 5:00 PM-10:00 PM) and 2-3 twelve-hour call shifts on weekends,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license required; pending NM license is acceptable,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 1-2 years of OR nursing experience required,

• 2 years of experience preferred,

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a travel nurse,

• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted,

• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation,
