Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing- Pick Your Own Schedule!

Join KARE as a licensed RN, earning $34–$50 per hour with bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure service plans are followed and administer or supervise treatments prescribed by physicians.
  • Make meaningful rounds to residents, recording visits on charts.
  • Administer all intramuscular, subcutaneous injections, perform in-house testing, and take and record vital signs.
  • Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status.
  • Collaborate with the Activity Director, Director of Nursing, and nursing aides in the activities program.
  • Receive or place calls to physicians and follow through with orders.
  • Prepare and administer prescribed medications and handle refills.
  • Chart shift records per facility policy and state guidelines.
  • Supervise serving of prescribed diets and fluid intake; report unresolved problems.
  • Prepare incident reports and complete admission assessments and discharge documentation timely and accurately.
  • Supervise residents self-administering medication, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
  • Provide emotional and social support, and report resident issues or concerns.
  • Respect residents’ confidentiality and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and coworkers.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Use the KARE app to schedule, log, and manage shifts.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active RN license.
  • Knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including infection control, universal precautions, and OSHA standards.
  • Understanding of medical diagnoses, procedures, and medication administration.
  • Ability to lift at least 51 lbs and provide physical assistance to residents.
  • Proficiency with computer tasks and specific software required for shift logging.
  • English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
  • Experience caring for residents with memory impairment is advantageous.
Pay and Benefits

Hourly rate $34–$50 with bonuses. Pay is typically issued the next business day. Referral bonuses are available for hiring colleagues.
