American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a NM or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent experience.

• 32-bed Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Rapid response team activation responsibilities
• Epic used for charting (experience preferred)
• No on-call requirements; floating to like units required
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week block required
• 36- or 48-hour weekly schedule options available

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
