Job SummaryThe RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU delivers safe, effective, and family-centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations.
Typical specialty areas include Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
- 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
