Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Albuquerque, NM

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department, with a significant portion of patients being admitted holds
• Administer medications, including IV medications, following the seven medication rights
• Document and communicate clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 in the Emergency Department setting
• Float as needed to Adult PCUs based on staffing needs; optional floating to Pediatric ED; potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma based on experience
• Work weekends as scheduled, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights

• Active RN license (state license may be pending at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience (1.5 years may be considered)
• TNCC certification required prior to submission
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required (NIH may be pending until compliance due date)
• RQI certifications are not accepted in lieu of required certifications
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (non-local requirement)

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Level I Trauma experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years of Level I Trauma experience may be considered without prior travel experience
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system

• Opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma, acute care teaching facility with a Children's Hospital designation, offering a dynamic and high-acuity clinical environment
