AboutThe Role
As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages presenting with a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. You will work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff in a supportive, team‑based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations across the lifespan
- Manage urgent and emergent care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, including:
- Suturing and minor procedures
- Management of uncomplicated fractures
- Emergency stabilization and acute care
- Use of diagnostic tools such as EKG, ultrasound, X‑ray, and lab services
- Care for adult and geriatric populations
Providers typically see between patients per day, allowing for both meaningful patient interaction and a balanced workflow.
Work Environment- Structured 10‑hour shifts with multiple start times
- 24‑hour physician coverage for support and collaboration
- Dedicated nursing and technical staff
- Board‑certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA‑C license in any U.S. state
- DEA license
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS
- Strong commitment to serving rural and underserved populations
- Collaborative, mission‑driven mindset
