Charge Registered Nurse - RN

Role:

Hemodialysis Team Leader, overseeing chronic hemodialysis care and supervising direct patient care staff.

• Provide daily guidance, support, and supervision to staff, participating in staffing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in patient care planning, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies.
• Assess patient needs, administer medications, and educate patients and families about dialysis, diet, and medications.
• Supervise equipment use, perform testing, and ensure safe operation of dialysis devices.
• Coordinate staff meetings, document patient information, and assist with special projects and staffing interviews.

• RN graduate from an accredited school with current state licensure.
• Minimum 9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Successful completion of hemodialysis training course.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and train staff.
• Physical ability to perform job functions in a healthcare setting.
