Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery
Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery delivering comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in West of Albuquerque, NM. Supports physicians and midwives, monitors health, administers medications, and educates families throughout the birthing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor and delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist with pain management
- Support physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures
- Educate and support patients and families on birthing and postnatal care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertise
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- Strong communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
