Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; administer medications and treatments; assist with cardiac procedures; ensure patient safety and comfort; document assessments and responses; educate patients on cardiac health; collaborate with healthcare teams; adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN; valid RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications; critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills; physical ability to perform required tasks; proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use.

Key Duties: Provide attentive, specialized cardiac care, respond to emergencies, maintain accurate documentation, promote patient education, and support multidisciplinary team efforts to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
