Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team. The role involves providing quality postpartum and delivery care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive maternity and postpartum nursing care to patients.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health, including vital signs and labor progress.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform clinical procedures as required.
• Educate patients and families about childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (pending certifications acceptable).
• Must be willing to work 36 or 48-hour shift options, including weekends.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units as needed.
• Must comply with travel and local staffing regulations, including fingerprints and travel compliance.
• Pending NM/Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start.
