Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a night shift Labor and Delivery unit. This position offers flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and monitor fetal and maternal well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP (pending certifications acceptable).
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units as needed.
