CVICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for a CVICU night shift to provide specialized cardiac intensive care. The role involves managing critically ill patients within a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor cardiac patients, responding to changes in condition promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and recovery processes.
• Document patient status, treatments, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Float to similar units as needed, maintaining competency across assigned areas.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license, eligible for NM/Compact licensing requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with flexibility for 36 or 48-hour schedules.
• Knowledge of critical care practices and patient management in cardiac units.
