American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Operating Room position requiring circulate experience and NM or compact RN licensure.

• Outpatient Operating Room setting within a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's Hospital
• Performs circulating duties across a wide range of specialties including Eye, ENT, GYN, Urology, OMF/Dental, Ortho, General/Plastics, Spine/Pain, Vascular, and Robotics
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month for trauma eye call only
• On-call required for eye trauma cases only: weekday call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM once per week, and weekend call for a full 24-hour period (7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday) once per month
• No floating required outside of scope
• Uses Cerner charting system

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Circulate experience required
• 3-4 years of overall experience in ophthalmology, robotics, and orthopedics required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Cataract case experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Pending license accepted for consideration

• Provide circulating RN support across multiple surgical specialties in an outpatient OR setting
• Must work 2 of the following 3 holiday bundles:
  Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day
• Scrubs provided by facility
• No on-site parking fees
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates not accepted within 100-mile radius of the facility
• Requests for RTO greater than 7 days require facility approval
• COVID vaccination is optional, but proof of vaccination series or a signed declination must be submitted for facility reporting purposes
