Description:
MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day). No RQI certifications accepted. No locals within a 100-mile radius. Ratios are 1 RN to 4-5 patients. Telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills are required. The unit requires the ability to handle frequent patient admissions and transfers.
The patient population served is diverse and includes various specialties but excludes ICU-level patients. Relief charge may be required; candidates must be willing to work relief charge as needed. The facility is a Level I Trauma center and operates with a total of 554 staffed beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
The adult admission inpatient unit is a fast-paced environment functioning as an admission unit. Required skills include managing medical equipment and effective time management. The unit consists of 17 beds and up to 8 hall beds. The candidate must be open to floating to different areas as needed. A commitment to maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team is essential.
