Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PRN (as needed) to join our established Behavioral Health Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are seeking a PMHNP PRN to support esketamine treatment delivery under physician oversight and in accordance with approved protocols.
Dedicated to improving the health of our community, Behavioral Health at Presbyterian offers treatment for lasting recovery from substance abuse, behavioral health conditions and psychiatric emergencies. Our full-service program supports adults, children and adolescents, and includes inpatient services, a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic, emergency and consultative services and behavioral medicine services embedded in primary care.
Responsibilities- Maintains active or associate membership on PHS Medical Staff in good standing and abides by all relevant obligations within the PHS Medical Staff Organization.
- Performs professional clinical duties as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner supporting esketamine treatment in accordance with established protocols and REMS requirements.
- Works in close collaboration with the supervising psychiatrist, who retains responsibility as physician of record.
- Performs patient assessment, monitoring, post-treatment observation, and documentation.
- Escalates all clinical concerns and deviations to supervising MD.
- Collaborates with nursing and ancillary staff and participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Ensures compliance with all safety, monitoring, and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
