Join a dynamic Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse travel team in Albuquerque, NM
. This 13-week travel nursing job offers the opportunity to support high-acuity cardiac and vascular procedures in a fast-paced perioperative setting while enjoying the vibrant culture and Southwest charm of Albuquerque.

  • Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Job
  • Start Date: 09/14/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,170 - $2,290
  • Call: 8-12 days of call per month; call required for STEMI and vascular cases
  • Orientation: Brief orientation provided; onboarding modules completed onsite
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or Cath Lab experience required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending New Mexico or compact license accepted if obtained prior to start
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required; pending completion may be accepted
  • Ability to work in a high-acuity cardiac procedural and perioperative setting
  • Experience with Epic preferred
  • Must be comfortable floating to like units within scope as needed
  • Travelers must live outside the local radius requirement
Responsibilities
  • Assist with cardiovascular and interventional surgical procedures in a busy CVOR environment
  • Circulate and support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures as needed
  • Monitor patients during procedural sedation and support safe patient care throughout the case
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the care team to ensure efficient workflow
  • Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
  • Respond to call coverage needs, including STEMI and vascular cases
  • Maintain a professional, adaptable approach in a fast-paced travel RN assignment
