Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opening in Albuquerque, NM - full or part-time

National practice of Neonatologists and Pediatric Specialists is looking for an NNP to join the team in Albuquerque, NM.

• Level 3 NICU with about 3,000 deliveries
• Facility is licensed for 50+ beds but the daily census ranges widely from 15-25
• Take care of all gestational ages, but no surgery or ECMO
• All ventilatory modes are represented and the facility does have nitric oxide
• Providers get called to high risk deliveries but not necessarily every c‑section
• Newborn nursery coverage as well
• Can work extra shifts in the newborn nursery or in the NICU for additional pay if desired
• Part‑time or full‑time available
• Seven 24 hr shifts will be considered full time with the ability to do extra or bundle shifts.

• Delivery Attendance
• Day‑To‑Day Management of NICU and Newborn Nursery patients
• Participate in Multi–Disciplinary Rounds to provide collaborative, team‑based care of NICU patients, including but not limited to ventilator management, nutrition management, lab review, and meetings with families
• High‑Frequency Ventilation (HFOV and HFJV), Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Therapeutic Hypothermia, Pediatric Surgery
• No cardiac surgery except for PDA; no ECMO subspecialty support
