Responsibilities:

Presbyterian is hiring an RN for our Cardiac Vascular Unit. On our unit we believe in going above and beyond to provide exceptional patient care, this can be seen by our low metrics. Our 36 bed unit is committed to the health of our patients. We are looking for nurses who display attention to detail and demonstrate Cardiac and Vascular knowledge.

This progressive care unit is a step-down unit in the Heart and Vascular program dedicated to the special care required for patients who are recovering from vascular/cardiac surgeries, and are working towards specializing. We are a Telemetry acuity unit committed to the health of not only our patients but the well-being of our staff.

Work schedule:

0.9 FTE (36 hours/week)

Day Shift and Night Shift Available 12-hour Nights, 7:00pm – 7:00am

12-hour Days, 7:00am - 7:00pm

Qualifications:

* Associates degree in Nursing required.

* State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Academic Preparation:

* Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred

* Required Certification from either AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross

* BLS:
All RN roles

* ACLS:
Emergency Department, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room

* NRP:
Family Birthing Center, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Care

* PALS:
Children Services, Cardiovascular Lab, Emergency Department, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
