Position

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in long-term care to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care to residents, supervising CNAs, and supporting the overall wellness and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care following facility policies and state regulations
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes promptly
  • Supervise Certified Nurse Assistants and ensure quality care is delivered
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Participate in care planning, chart reviews, and care conferences
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all nursing interventions and observations
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
  • Uphold resident rights and promote independence, dignity, and well-being
Qualifications
  • Valid LPN license in the state of New Mexico
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
  • Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
