Position Summary

We seek a compassionate and reliable Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, person-centered care and support to residents in our long-term care community, promoting their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Provide mobility assistance such as transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices
  • Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
  • Support residents' emotional and social needs with compassion and dignity
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and homelike environment at all times
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Qualifications
  • Valid CNA certification in the state of New Mexico
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for senior care
  • Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents as needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
