PACU RN – Inpatient
Schedule
12-hour shifts with one weekend shift per month. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week.
Assignment Details
Minimum assignment length: 10 weeks. Orientation: 24 hours. Call: 1–2 overnight call shifts monthly.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
- Experience in a Level I trauma facility and telemetry.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience with pre/post catheterization and interventional radiology procedures is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia across various age groups.
- Monitor and manage care for patients with complex medical needs.
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and other critical conditions.
- Perform pre-operative duties as needed.
Compliance / Notes
Drug screen required within 30 days prior to start. Flu vaccination required, with exemptions allowed for medical/religious reasons.
