Registered Nurse Educator

Position Overview: This role involves assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical and non-clinical educational programs for various hospital operational components. The educator ensures adherence to policies, promotes patient safety, and enhances staff competency across diverse patient age groups.

• Identify educational needs through data collection and analysis
• Design and implement instructional programs using adult learning principles
• Coordinate and deliver educational initiatives, ensuring safety and engagement
• Evaluate program outcomes, gather feedback, and revise plans for continuous improvement
• Maintain high-quality instructional standards, incorporate evidence-based practices, and foster innovation
• Lead professional development, serve as a role model, and stay current with industry standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, serve as an educational resource, and influence organizational planning
• Manage documentation, records, and reporting for compliance and quality improvement

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing or related disciplines; MSN preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification
• Preferred TNCC instructor and trauma/ED experience
• Physical ability for heavy work and adherence to safety protocols
