RN - Inpatient Supervisor

This role is a Registered Nurse position within a Surgical Specialty Unit, responsible for providing clinical leadership and patient care across diverse age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Key duties include

• supervising and assigning nursing staff based on patient needs and staff qualifications
• monitoring attendance and shift coverage
• acting as a liaison among physicians, staff, and families to facilitate communication and problem-solving
• ensuring adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
• delivering direct patient care, including medication administration, special tests, and procedures
• collaborating on care plans and discharge planning
• participating in orientation, education, and professional development activities
• supporting patient safety initiatives and reporting concerns
• delegating tasks and supervising staff performance

Qualifications include a

• graduation from an accredited nursing program
• minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• current RN licensure and CPR certification
• ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
