Role Overview

Provide direct nursing care within the Mother & Baby Unit, ensuring patient safety and quality care across diverse age groups. Serve as a clinical leader, assuming relief charge duties and mentoring new staff. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, including discharge planning and patient education. Assist with tests, procedures, and medication administration, maintaining accurate medical records.

Respond to emergencies, promote a safe environment, and adhere to hospital policies. Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • RN licensure in NM or reciprocal jurisdiction
  • CPR/BLS certification within 30 days
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in hazardous conditions
  • Preferred bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and specialty certification
