Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse for a 13-week temp-to-perm contract in western Albuquerque, NM. The role involves coordinating patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team. Compensation up to $2,850 per week based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate patient care and workflow as the OR circulator
Prepare the operating room by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile
Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout surgery and report changes
Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other team members
Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license)
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification a plus
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience
You hold a valid NM RN license and BLS/ACLS. You have at least one year recent OR circulator experience. You can coordinate patient care while maintaining sterile environment
