Pest Control Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full‑time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Albuquerque, NM. This position will report to our office in Rio Rancho, NM once per week. The individual we are looking for enjoys working in a team environment and excels at an individual level.

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert by implementing best pest solutions for each customer
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Inform management of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Carry a product backpack weighing approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

• No experience required; we will train you
• A US driver's license valid for a minimum of 3 years
• A clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
