This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Quality, located in Albuquerque, NM. The Director of Quality will oversee and manage quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing quality management systems, facilitating audits, analyzing process data, managing risk, and driving continuous quality improvements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process excellence.

• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO standards and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures across all manufacturing phases, from design to production to delivery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that meets customer and regulatory requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans to address quality issues.
• Develop and manage quality metrics that measure the effectiveness of the QMS.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals.
• Conduct regular internal audits and facilitate external audits by certification bodies
• Develop and implement a robust supplier quality management program to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance.
• Monitor and track performance utilizing key performance indicators. Investigate operational problems and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product development ensure the effective integration of quality into all processes, products, and services.
• Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization through training, workshops, and quality awareness campaigns.
• Communicate, train, and author (when applicable) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including periodic review/revisions of procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
• Ensure continuous monitoring and improvements to maintain product quality, safety, and efficacy.
