Special Inspector

Special Inspector – Albuquerque, NM

We are looking for Special Inspectors to perform testing, project‑specific observations, and site assessment duties. The role involves operating equipment, conducting tests and inspections, and reporting data based on drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and written instructions.

• Communicate with Supervisor and Dispatch to obtain daily work assignments.
• Prepare daily data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform all required tests and inspections accurately.
• Prepare and submit company documents related to projects.
• Submit time sheets for approval.
• Obtain proper field authorizations and client signatures when required.
• Alert Supervisor or Project Manager to changes in work scope or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

• Valid ICC (ICBO) certification in at least one of the following:
  Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Structural Steel & Bolting.
• ACI Field certification (preferred).
• Other certifications: CWI, TTCP (Pre‑Req for S&A), among others (optional).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work under adverse weather or site conditions, including confined spaces and elevated work.
• Good or corrected vision and manual dexterity.

$26 – $35 USD per hour.
