Qualifications:
- 2 years of property leasing required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Confidence in showing and leasing apartments, answering the telephone, and greeting prospective tenants in the leasing office.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, and the ability to learn and retain knowledge of operating the Property Management Software (Yardi)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective residents and maintain a positive attitude.
- Provide a professional and engaging experience for prospects while touring the apartment homes and community.
- Maintain consistent resident retention with a focus on the resolution of resident conflicts and problems.
- Develop a strong rapport with residents and be able to enforce community rules and regulations, as necessary.
- Process applications and lease renewals and complete all related paperwork accurately and correctly.
- Proactively manage sales, outreach, and lead generation.
- Work with the maintenance department to ensure apartment turnovers are completed on time.
- Recognize opportunities for problem resolution and establishing good customer relations,
- Recognize trends in customer issues and advise management.
