A prominent educational institution is seeking a Research Scientist 1 to work at the Teakettle Experimental Forest during the summer/fall of 2026. The role involves assisting with water sampling and maintaining aquatic sensors, as well as supporting forest technicians. Desired skills include field crew experience and knowledge in hydrologic measurements. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree; previous experience is not required.
This position will be conducted in a remote location with rustic facilities.
