• Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
• Provide accurate portions and prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery items and use equipment per company guidelines.
• Follow temperature logs and cooking/baking instructions.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
• Check product quality and handle sell‑by dates.
• Label, stock, and inventory department items.
• Report product ordering discrepancies to the department manager.
• Know store layout and locate products for customers.
• Stay current with seasonal and special ads.
• Maintain inventory awareness and report discrepancies.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Promote trust, respect, and a positive attitude among associates.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Practice preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
