Retail Display Installer – Technology

Travel up to 90 miles from home, on average. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Work Monday–Friday;
Weekends are not required.

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading brands like Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. You’ll execute a wide range of in‑store tasks, including installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps, performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs, and following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives. You’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications to complete assignments efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to field services management quickly (within 24 hours) and keep availability updated.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms, images, surveys associated with each job/assignment before leaving the job site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and installations involving a team of 2+ people.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines associated with accurate time‑card submission, reporting anomalies daily with needed corrections.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate and complete training and certification programs.
  • Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems/workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Execute all directives as provided, fully and completely.
  • Work closely within the shared services team to ensure goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the shared services team, local/regional markets, clients, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication skills, and strong leadership abilities while representing the company.
  • Participate in cross‑functional processes to ensure alignment and operational success.
  • Ensure customer and client satisfaction is met and continually improved.
Qualifications
  • Age:
    Must be 18 or older (due to insurance requirements).
  • Eligibility:
    Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Availability:
    Flexible availability Monday through Friday. Weekend, holiday, early morning, late‑night availability as needed. Must maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
  • Physical Abilities:
    Ability to climb a ladder up to 10 feet; safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs; kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to adjust to the ever‑changing variety of tasks and work environments.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Effective communication via phone, text, and email; use of smartphone for clocking in/out, photo uploads, and application use.
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial.
  • Experience:

    Preferred installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to follow planogram directives.
  • Technology:
    Own an Android or Apple mobile device; navigate communication platforms and applications independently.
  • Training:
    Must complete all training assignments and tasks within a designated time frame.
  • Transportation:
    Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance; willingness and ability to travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment/shift/daily.
  • Leadership & Communication:
    Superior leadership skills, strong professional communication and presentation skills, good judgment, problem‑solving, and time‑management.
